Origami Decorations: A Tulip in a Tulip Box

A Tulip in a Tulip Box...what could make a better pair?
Origami Decorations: A Tulip in a Tulip Box

Here are the details of the models:
  • Tulip, traditional model, folded with a 6" (150 mm) square of regular origami paper. The instructions can be found here.
  • The stem is just a 6"x 2" (150 mm  x 50 mm) rectangle of scrapbook paper rolled up tightly.
  • Tulip Box, created by Mette Pederson, folded with four 6" (150 mm) squares of scrapbook paper. The diagrams can be found in her book Mette Units 7. The original Tulip Box has an open top. I made a small modification to close it, and better hold the stem of the flower.
