More Origami Santas....

This time I chose some flat Santa models. Flat models look great on cards, and can also decorate walls if you make them big enough. Here are some examples:

Santa Claus (on the card on the left) was designed by Jun Maekawa and can be found in the book Genuine Origami. I folded it from a 6" (150 mm) square paper.

Santa Claus (on the card on the right) was designed by Tomoko Fuse and  can be found in the book 12 Months in a Small Box - Autumn Winter, ISBN 4-480-87340-6, (in Japanese). I folded it from a 6" (150 mm) square paper and added some "gifts".

This last Santa was designed by Y. Sano and M. Mizuno and can be found in the book Minigami.  This model requires two squares of paper and a little glue. I folded it from 10" (250 mm) square paper and ended up big enough to decorate my front door. It looks wrinkled because I applied it a water resistant finish

Merry Christmas!
